The Electric Vehicle Center (EVC) is seeking a student instructional designer to develop classroom resources using the EVC’s interactive workforce development and education website. The U-M student will play a key role in developing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that help students explore the history, technology, sustainability, and societal impacts of electric vehicles. The position is for approximately 10-15 hours during the Fall semester, with the possibility to continue based on project needs. The role is primarily remote, with optional opportunities to engage in person. You will: - Review an interactive website to identify opportunities for teaching and learning.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans for students in grades 3 through 12.
- Create teacher instructions, learning objectives, and student activities or worksheets.
- Adapt activities for different grade bands, classroom settings, and levels of student access to the website.
