Job Description
This position will assist the Development team at Matthaei Botanical Gardens in a variety of tasks including donor stewardship, database management, event/program planning, as well as general administrative tasks.  The student will work closely with Matthaei Botanical Gardens staff as well as independently. We are looking for students who can work Spring, Summer, and Fall terms.

Job Requirements

Must have the ability to be responsible, organized, enthusiastic and willing to take initiative. This position may include evening and weekend hours.  Experience in development, customer service and event planning is desired.  Transportation assistance may be available. Students must be eligible for federal work study.  

Educational Value

The student will gain skills in development while working with the botanical gardens and arboretum staff.  The student will develop problem solving, database management, and communication skills.
