Job Description

Under direction of the Depression Center’s Marketing Communications Specialist, this position will assist with a variety of multimedia communication needs including:

·       {C}Design print collateral and digital pieces such as flyers, posters, reports, and social media images

{C}·       {C}Web design and content management for a number of websites

{C}·       {C}Video and audio editing

{C}·       {C}Writing feature stories and news articles

{C}·       {C}Email marketing and newsletter production

{C}·       Other marketing/communications needs as directed

Job Requirements

·       {C}Work-study eligible

{C}·       {C}Communications, marketing, or journalism experience

{C}·       {C}Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

{C}·       {C}Knowledge of CMS for web design and content management

{C}·       {C}Experience with audio/video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro or iMovie

{C}·       {C}Strong writing, editing, and proof reading skills

{C}·       {C}Familiarity with Constant Contact or MailChimp

{C}·       {C}Ability to work independently and remotely

{C}·       {C}Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines

Desired qualifications:

{C}·       {C}Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Dreamweaver

{C}·       {C}Basic knowledge of mental health

{C}·       {C}Previous experience with health or research messaging
