Job Description

This is an entry-level position with BlueCorps of LSA Technology Services intended for work-study students. BlueCorps Consultants assist students, faculty, and staff on a wide variety of technology used in LSA courses and student life.

Because this is an entry-level position, no experience is needed. BlueCorps consultants will learn technology including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Cloud, iClicker, Canvas, Microsoft Office, and Google Tools. In addition to assisting individuals who come to the BlueCorps desk, BlueCorps also offers workshops to students, faculty, and staff. BlueCorps Consultants will interact with patrons in-person, via Zoom, or by written communication. The BlueCorps desk location is in Room 2001 of the Modern Languages Building.

Job Requirements

Employees must be reliable, enthusiastic, possess a willingness to learn and help, and have a good start on communication skills. Must be interested in constantly learning new tools and must have an ability to empathize and share experiences with patrons. Troubleshooting and public speaking experience are a plus, though not required to start. Applicants must fill out the online application.
